Established around 1985 then called Railroad Street Books started a local tradition of exchanging used books for credit on other used books that a person wanted.
Today Michael and Susan Lissy The new owners with the new The Sequel Used Books and Espresso have computerized their inventory for quicker title retrieval, added a coffee espresso service with seating inside and out plus free Wi-Fi.
If browsing through hardbacks and paper backs was enjoyable before, a great cup of coffee or hot chocolate will put you over the edge. The Sequel Used Books and Espresso has become a favorite hangout for out-of-town guests, local business folks taking a break and for families just to be together. Michael and Susan even keep a fresh bowl of water outside the front door if you are walking your pet.

Could this Sequel be Better than the Original?
Wilbur Adkisson, of Buckley, said he's been coming to this location on Railroad Street, which was known as Railroad Street Books prior to becoming Brain Candy, for years. He enjoys browsing the westerns section and has already brought in used books to The Sequel trade for store credit. "I like the people who run it," he said.
